Specialized Courses
As a private pilot, you will be able to enjoy the freedom of flight in any airplane for which you have been trained. Private pilots may fly with friends and family, providing the flight is not conducted for-hire (compensation). For students wishing to work one day as a professional pilot, the private pilot license is a stepping stone towards that goal.
Earning your Private Pilot Certificate requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, 10 of which must be solo hours. Included in those 40 hours are requirements for cross-country flying, night flying, and flying to airports with control towers. During your training, you will quickly master all of the skills necessary to safely and confidently navigate the airspace in the United States so that you can enjoy new experiences with your friends and family.
We provide both the ground as well as flight training required to pass your private pilot exams. Fill out the form below for more information on our next start date for private pilot ground school. Give the gift of flight and enroll a friend or family member in the ground school or sign up yourself and achieve your dream of flight!
